Compatibility:

For Android 1.5 to 2.x:

1. Access the keyboard in Settings > Locale & text
2. Long press a text box, then select the input method

For Android 3.x to 4.x:

1. Access the keyboard in Settings > Language & input
2. Click on a text box, then drop down the notification bar
3. Click 'Choose input method' and select the desired input method

For Android 5.x:

1. Select the keyboard in Settings > Language & input > Current Keyboard > Choose Keyboards
2. Click on a text box, tap the keyboard icon on the bottom navigation bar, and select the input method

Tips:

1. If you encounter severe lag after an update, re-installing the keyboard may help alleviate the issue.
2. After changing themes, consider restarting the keyboard or rotating the device with the keyboard active to ensure the new theme is applied.
3. If you experience touch sensitivity problems, adjust the Touch sensitivity settings to High or Neutral.
4. If certain candidates are missing, try enabling the 'Rarely used characters' option in the 'Chinese candidates' settings.
5. Simplified Chinese candidates are disabled by default. Enable them in the 'Character type' option under 'Chinese candidates' settings if needed.

Known Issues:

1. The keyboard may close randomly when entering a phone number in Contacts on Samsung devices running Android 4.x. This will be addressed once validation on a Samsung device is possible.
2. On LG devices, despite sound settings being disabled, pressing keys may still trigger sound. This issue will be reviewed once an LG device is available for testing.
3. There may be an issue with the selection bar jumping when set to a smaller height. A fix for this is currently under development.
